As record-breaking high summer temperatures have become more common in Japan with an accompanying rise in cases of heat stroke, admission hours to the Observatory will be changed for the month of August. There will be no morning admission hours from Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 31, but rather an afternoon admission (1:30pm – 4:00pm) and an evening admission (4:30pm – 7:00pm).

During both admission periods, visitors will have access to the entire site including the bamboo area.

The admission price is 3,300 yen for reserved tickets and 3,850 yen for walk-up tickets.

During August, the schedule for free shuttle bus will also change. Please see the details below.

【Bus time table from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 31】

［Afternoon admission（1:30pm – 4:00pm）］　
・Departure times from Nebukawa Station: 1:15pm / 1:40pm　
・Departure times from the Observatory: 3:00pm / 3:30pm / 4:00pm
　*Reservation is not necessary for return shuttle to station.

［Evening admission（4:30pm – 7:00pm）］
・Departure times from Nebukawa Station:
　Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4:15pm / 4:40pm
　Sunday and national holidays 4:15pm
・Departure times from the Observatory: 5:50pm / 6:30pm / 6:55pm
　*Reservation is not necessary for return shuttle to station.
